[Criteria for enforcement of restricted vehicles]
Control standards for vehicles with restricted operation apply to vehicles exceeding the following subparagraphs (including trailer-connected vehicles and semi-trailer-connected vehicles) and construction machinery:
1. Vehicles whose weight exceeds 10 tons or 40 tons of gross weight. (However, in case the shaft weight and gross weight exceeds 10% of the above criteria, this may be allowed in consideration of measuring instruments and measurement errors.)
2. Vehicles with a width of 2.5 meters and a height of 4.0 meters (4.2 meters in the case of road routes recognized and notified by the Administration that there is no obstacle to road conservation and traffic safety), and vehicles exceeding 16.7 meters in length
3. Notwithstanding the provisions of subparagraphs 1 and 2, vehicles deemed necessary by the Road Management Agency as necessary to preserve the road structure and prevent traffic hazards, and have undergone prescribed procedures prescribed in Article 77 of the Road Act and Article 79-3 of the Enforcement Decree.
