VDI is carrying out one of the project's activities, the task of which is to create two IT tools that ensure the education of employers, employees and the public in the field of occupational safety and health and provide an opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility.
This project is to develop two IT-based tools for testing knowledge of occupational safety, health and employment law. The developed tools will support socially responsible business initiatives, accessible to a wide audience, adapted to both stationary and mobile devices (placed in mobile application databases). Information about the tools will be made public during project events on social networks and during project publicity activities. The first tool will cover OSH technical issues: use of personal protective equipment, labeling, requirements for various workplaces, and so on. The second tool will address employment issues: working time, terms of employment, pay, and so on. Both tools will be designed in a simple and understandable way, with references to legislation. The tools will help test the knowledge of OSH and DS for both company employees and managers, which will contribute to the formation of a culture of OSH at work, which in turn will increase public intolerance to socially irresponsible business. The tools will include a request function, which will allow to ask a question to the consultants of the State Labor Inspectorate in accordance with the established procedure and / or inform about a possible violation, automatically determining the location of the violation and making it possible to take a photo.
