Lithuania's path to independence was difficult and long. 1795 after the collapse of the Republic of the Two Nations, and the Lithuanians' oppression of the Russian Empire, the aim was to restore the lost state for centuries. This goal was fought in 1831. and 1863–1864. but only after the First World War did the idea of freedom become real for Lithuanians.
1918 February 16 Lithuania's independence was restored, state borders were restored and freedom was restored. However, it was soon realized that the declaration of independence alone did not guarantee it. We had to fight for the state with a weapon, because external enemies encroached on the lands and sovereignty of the young democratic Lithuania. 1919–1920 The struggle for Lithuania's independence showed that the state and its defenders resisted the armies of the Bolsheviks, Bermontists and Poles and established the freedom and independence they had all sought. During the entire period of defending independence, many important events took place that are worth remembering and appreciating for every Lithuanian citizen.

In the game you will discover a memory of a soldier, which will allow you to get acquainted with the used military equipment, introduce prominent personalities and the first victims of battles. In the 3D environment it will be possible to see the fleet of military equipment, armored vehicles, planes, etc. The military-strategic game "Battle Road", supplemented with effective videos, will invite you to get acquainted with the everyday life of the then soldier, inviting you to get to know the most important stages of the struggle for Independence.
