Lumino was born from the need to express comfort and mutual closeness to us Italians, currently divided each in their own home. Closeness and affection for the fallen, for their families and for those who risk their lives to save that of others.

The idea was born when I came to know the campaign that Francesca Penna has been carrying out since the beginning of this historical chapter. Francesca is fighting for a primary human need: that of not suspending funeral services.
By interviewing her, I discovered that her campaign is not only a protest, but an urgent human need to find a dimension suited to the expression of that affection that suddenly can no longer be answered.
