Shri Mangal Graha Mandir
Amalner's Shri Mangal Dev Temple is one of the oldest, rarest and most 'living' (a temple where people experience fulfillment of desires and wishes) in all of India.
It is well known that the temples of Shri Mangal Dev are very rare. Who built Mangal Dev Graha (planet) temple in Amalner and when was the idol installed? There is no honest information about it. Some believe that the temple was first renovated in 1933. After 1940, the temple once again fell into oblivion and reached a dilapidated state. Till 1999, the vicinity of the temple was used as a dumping ground for the city's waste. It was also a haven for criminals and other anti-social activities. This fact seems incredible but unfortunately it is true.
The restoration after 1999 has brought a miraculously pleasant transformation to the temple and its surroundings. In the last 5 to 7 years, the pace of development of space and facilities has increased manifold.
