Legal assistance in applying for access to information in Montenegro
Through this application you can submit requests for information to any institution in Montenegro *, and we will follow all legal procedures required to enable you to access the data.
When you select the submit request field, you need to select an institution from the drop-down menu and then enter the request text. If the institution you want to request information from is not listed, please contact us at spi@mans.co.me
After submitting your request, our operator will review it and if necessary specify it will contact you via email asking for more detailed information. If you have formulated the request in accordance with the Law, we will submit it and you will be notified by email and you will receive information on the ordinal number of your request.
In the start panel, you see the requests you have made by the names of the institutions you have addressed.
You will receive notifications of changes to your item via the email you provide when you register. The notification contains all the replies of the institutions upon request, and upon request of the user we provide information on legal actions taken and the status of the case.
Only you will receive replies to your request and other users cannot see what requests you have made.
* The Law on Free Access to Information provides that you may request information from:
- state bodies (legislative, executive, judicial, administrative),
- local self-government bodies and local government bodies,
- institutions, companies and other legal entities founded, co-founded or majority owned by States or local governments,
- legal entities whose work is largely financed from public revenue,
- as well as natural persons, entrepreneurs or legal entities exercising public authority or managing a public fund.
