Geographically, the commune is located in the western part of Wielkopolska, in the Nowotomyski poviat, while the seat of the commune is in Miedzichów.

Miedzichowo commune is situated exactly between Warsaw and Berlin. The A2 motorway runs through the commune, guaranteeing very convenient communication with both its eastern and western edge.

The total area of ​​the Miedzichowo commune is about 209 km2, it consists of 13 village councils and 21 localities. The number of inhabitants is about 3750 people.

The Miedzichowo commune belongs to the most forested commune in Poland. Forests and lakes hidden in them give the area an unusual climate and introduce an atmosphere of wild nature. Among the forests and meadows rare species of flora and fauna can be found.
