FLMIS PDRM

The FLMIS (Firearms Licensing Management & Integrated System) application was developed to facilitate officers of the Firearms Licensing Division, Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in carrying out firearms licensing review and management more efficiently and systematically. Among the main functions of this application are checking the status of firearms license applications, licensing status, Carry & Use (C&U) permit status, records of firearms owned, interim license applications, license revocation studies, monitoring the movement and storage of firearms, as well as compliance and enforcement of firearms license inspections including the issuance of official notification letters.

The main objective of implementing FLMIS is to improve efficiency and transparency in firearms licensing management, monitor the level of licensing compliance, and track the movement of firearms comprehensively. This is to ensure that national security control is always maintained and avoid any risk of firearms misuse by irresponsible parties.
