About नारळ लागवड #Agrownet™

One year old seedlings should be selected for coconut cultivation. Seedlings should be thin and thick. One year old seedlings should have five to six leaves. Seedlings should be healthy and vigorous. Seedlings should be purchased from a reliable nursery. The distance between the two trees needs to be right and if it is not, there are problems like late arrival of coconut or not. The straight distance from the stalk to the apex of the leaf is 3.25 to 3.5 m. So if there is a distance of 7.5 meters between the two plants, the coconut husks will not penetrate or cover each other.

When planting new seedlings in a row, keep a distance of 7.5 m between two rows and two seedlings to get proper yield from the seedlings. If coconut is to be planted in a row along the side of a field, field or fence, it is possible to keep a distance of 6.75 or 7 meters. The distance can be up to six meters for the Thengu breed.
