Learning Principle 1 (8000 words secret)

“How long do you have to study to be good at English?”, “What the hell is the problem?”
I wanted to know the answer to this question. The answer was simple as I pondered. Second, it was impossible to interpret the word without knowing the meaning of the word. So how many words do you need to know? According to the survey, people who speak English as their native language use between 30,000 and 50,000 vocabulary words. So how many words do you need to communicate?
It is well known that the frequency of use of words follows the law of powers (laws of power). This is the rule that the probability of a large event occurring is low and the probability of an ordinary event occurring being very high. 20% of commonly used words account for 80% of the total word usage, as in Paristo's law that 20% of the population has 80% wealth. Considering that the native speaker knows an average of 40,000 words, we know that 20%, or 8000 words, is sufficient for English as a foreign language.
12,800 words were selected and prioritized among words from various vocabulary books and SAT on the market. Using the web and social media, the words are determined by reflecting the times, so the probability of memorized words coming out of the usual study or work is extremely high. Because the fingerprints of the test are excerpted from several documents, the probability of taking the test well increases. When analyzing words that have been taken in SAT in the last 10 years, more than 95% of them are included.
A total of 12,800 words are divided into 8 levels of 1600 words. There are a total of eight stages, from the first year of junior high school to the second year of college. According to their level, it is memorized 8,000 words for a total of 5 weeks in 2 ~ 6 steps (in the case of high school students) and 3 ~ 7 steps in the case of high schools. In general, high school students memorize all the words necessary for SAT in 5 weeks, and it is easier to access them by solving an English book or SAT. If necessary, repeat once more.

Learning Principle 2 (understands words as a language source)

English that cannot be easily crossed
Since Korean language is Korean anyway, it can be read, so the barrier to entry is not high. Mathematics is different from language courses with thousands of words to memorize. However, English is not Korean, nor is there a logical system like math. English is now considered to be a mountain that can't be passed on to students who want to start.
The word gap is the English gap
Where do we see the gap in education, the gap between high-income and low-income families? It is English. It feels worse in the field. Among English, words are the most problematic. For everyone, the word study is boring and frustrating. In what years will you memorize countless strange words? It is not unusual to have students memorize one hundred or one thousand a day. Even if you memorize it like that, you won't be able to learn it for a while and you will forget it quickly. If you don't cross English words, you can't speak English. We need to find a way to study English words that suits us.
  1000 Honors English Answers
One success story is just an experience story. But the 1000 answers are statistics and science. Their answer is that 40% are English words. English words are important, and the word learning method is basically repetition and repetitive learning. It is repeated with eyes and mouth without any attempt. There seems to be no difference so far, but in fact there is a huge difference. They do not memorize English words. I understand. This is really a big difference.
You are not having a bad head.
The study method was just wrong. You are not lazy. No one has ever given you a fun way to study. It will be different now. No more memorizing English words or forgetting them anymore. With this app, you will be able to memorize it too easily by investing time. No you will understand. You will have confidence in English beyond words.
Words to understand and memorize etymology
Most students memorize English words. See and watch until the paper becomes black and the wrist ligament stretches until it is memorized, or until it is blindly stuck in the head. However, if you understand the etymology, you can understand and study like math or science. Why does the word look like this? There is a reason in everything in the world. The words you are seeing are not just born. If you understand the reason, you can understand, and if you understand, you can easily memorize without having to memorize it.

Learning Principle 3 (Ted Memorization)

Concentrate for 10 minutes to memorize about 40 words, and 80 to memorize 320 words. Memorize 320 words on Monday, review 320 words memorized the previous day on Tuesday, and memorize 1600 words on the 5th until Friday by memorizing the next 320 words. We review 1600 words on Saturday and Sunday. Memorize up to 8000 words in 5 weeks.
1. Use only eyes and mouth without writing. If you just abandon the habit of slowly memorizing words over and over again, you will be free from the word memorization bridle. The speed of memorization increases and the intensity of memory improves.
2. The mouth must move. Moving your muscles strengthens your memory. This is because the brain movement is stronger than when the mouth is closed and memorized because the mouth movement is made by the instructions of the brain.
3. Cut and memorize 40 words every 10 minutes. By memorizing 40 words in 10 minutes, you can memorize thousands of words with fun. If you memorize many words in a limited time, immersion and tension are formed and maintained automatically.
4. I don't care about the correctness of pronunciation and spelling. Elements that interfere with memorization should be excluded before you can memorize them faster and more accurately. Even if you memorize roughly first, you can supplement the accuracy of pronunciation and spelling in dictation. If you practice using only your eyes and mouth, your worries about spelling will disappear naturally.
5. Meaning memorizes only the first one. Memorizing the first interpretation in a one-to-one relationship with words can help maintain immersion. It is easy to memorize the other interpretation while one word and one are memorized as a standard, so you can memorize it once and then memorize it further when you need it.
6. If you memorize by turning 8 wheels based on 40 words, you will end Lesson 1 for memorizing a day. When you look at a word you don't know, your brain is strongly stimulated, so only the words marked 'well' are repeated.
7. Evaluate by eye and mouth immediately after memorization. Rather than remembering words to memorize many times, it is more effective to remember without interpreting them. Evaluate what you know at the start, repeat and repeat (evaluate, repeat) and continue the process of learning again, repeat the review again on the weekend. Don't think about the order in which words are presented, just repeat learning to evaluate and check if you know. It is more complete to remember to go as fast as possible.
