The Zug trails are the professional organization responsible on behalf of the Canton for signalization of hiking trails and hiking in the Canton train. You are a member of the umbrella organization Swiss Hiking. (Www.wandern.ch)
The main tasks are:
Promotion of a comprehensive and secure network of hiking trails in the Canton train, which is uniformly and consistently signaled by the national compulsory standards.
Initiating projects, services and activities at cantonal level to promote hiking as a meaningful recreational activity and as a significant contribution to health promotion, for tourism value and understanding of nature.
Conducting guided walks.
Safeguard the interests of walkers at the cantonal, political and institutional level.
