MicroMega is the magazine of culture, politics, science and philosophy directed from the first issue by Paolo Flores D’Arcais. Founded in March 1986, it has been supporting the country's great civil and democratic battles for 35 years. It is inspired by the principles of an enlightened and secular left, it takes sides against the dominant conformisms.
The magazine is a bimonthly periodical. The typical book format is the same as always. Each issue boasts contributions and signatures of high national and international prestige. Periodically MicroMega also becomes an Almanac of cinema, literature, science and philosophy.
From January 2021 MicroMega is an independent magazine, published by Micromega Edizioni società sociale SRL. The company also publishes the information site micromega.net and the subscription newsletter MicroMega +.
