Allspark is a "match three" game, where the core of the game is based on the exchange of two adjacent robots between several on the game board to form a row or column of at least 3 robots of the same color. In this game, the robots that match are removed from the board and the robots that are above them fall into the empty spaces, appearing new robots at the top of the board. This can create a new set of paired robots, which is automatically deleted in the same way. The player earns points for these matches and progressively earns more points for chain reactions. Additionally, creating matches of four or more robots will create a special robot that, when paired, can clear a row, column or other section of the board.
