About Neurostrobe--brainwave entrain
Neurostrobe is an app for experimenting with audio-visual brainwave entrainment using your phone's camera flash, vibration motor, and sound. It uses Android's new flashlight APIs to accurately generate high frequencies.
For best results, we recommend using the camera flash and sound mode and reflecting the flash off a large surface, like a wall.
Audio/visual entrainment is similar to, but more effective than, binaural beats. It uses pulses of sound and light to drive brain activity at a target rhythm.
WARNING: PHOTOSENSITIVITY/EPILEPSY SEIZURES
A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. If you, or anyone in your family has an epileptic condition or has had seizures of any kind, consult your physician before using.
IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE use and consult your physician if you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of awareness, disorientation, seizures, or any involuntary movement while using.
