The Call Book app is specially designed for aphasia patients who have difficulty finding words, but still be able to read at the word level. With more than 3,000 words and phrases that are useful classified, and a worksheet in which words can be combined, this is the ideal tool for making a call.


• This app is based on the paper Conversation Book: a tool that in the Netherlands by thousands of people will use.

• The more than 3000 words and phrases are categorized for optimal findability. Important and frequently used phrases such as "how are you?" and "thank you" can be found the fastest.

• There are four main headings: Who, Where, When and How, each with its own color for recognition. These sections connect to the standard parts of a sentence and thereby make it easier to combine words into a question or comment.

• The user can combine words by placing them on a sheet. " He / she can also have them speak out, or copy and paste them into another app, such as in an email.

• The Call Book app was born from the collaboration between different healthcare and research institutions: Aphasia Association Netherlands, Aphasia Center Rotterdam eo, the Sint Maartens, TNO and Radboud University. Moreover, as from the outset, patients were involved.
