About Voedselintroductie

Simply look up which ingredients your little one can eat per month. Keep track of what your little one is eating and what are favorites.

150+ ingredients
The app contains more than 150 ingredients ranging from vegetables and fruit, to bread, legumes, dairy, vegetable substitutes and more.

Useful information & extras
Not only does each ingredient state the age from which it can be eaten, it also contains information about when it is in season and whether the product poses a choking hazard. Mark ingredients as favorites and when your little one has eaten them, so that you have a nice overview of what has been eaten and when.

Stefan Kleintjes
Food introduction uses Stefan Kleintjes' food introduction schedule as a basis. Kleintjes is a dietitian, lactation consultant and author of, among other things, the book "Eating for the little ones" in which the influential schedule is mentioned. Pap & Lepel has been given permission to use it. Stefan Kleintjes is not responsible for the extensions made by Pap & Lepel.

Little Ones Method/Rapley Method
Food introduction fits in nicely with the Kleintjes Method and the Rapley Method (baby-led weaning). With these methods you do not offer your little one pureed or mashed snacks, but food in solid form. If you do not follow these methods, you can of course also use the app.

From 6 months
Food Introducing can be used from about 6 months, when most babies are introduced to their first solid foods (according to the Rapley Method and Kleintjes Method).
