About Struikelstenen Gids

Stichting 18 september took the initiative in Eindhoven to commemorate the 274 Jewish residents of the city who were killed in the Second World War. Here are small memorial stones, so-called Struikelstenen (Stolpersteine), placed in the pavement near the house where the victims lived. This shows the name of the victim, the date of death and the name of the concentration camp. In this way the memory of this horrifying persecution in the Second World War is kept alive and we give the victims a name.

With this app you can find the Struikelstenen in Eindhoven and other cities in the Netherlands. You can search by name, street or city. There is also the possibility to walk a walking route through several locations in the cities. From many locations there are stories recorded with or without images.

Are you interested in adding your Struikelstenen to our app, please send an email with your details to info@struikelstenen-gids.nl
