Jesus is wanted! In the theater, among politicians and in the social debate, the question of what values to shape today's society is being discussed. Many will bid for the values that Jesus stood for.
When we ask the question, "Where is Jesus going?" We want to focus on what we think is central to Jesus: the way he met people. We want to show people who represent Jesus' way of acting - regardless of whether it happens inside or outside of a Christian confession.
Linked to the words of Jesus in the gospels, photographers will challenge reflection and debate about what Jesus' way of acting can mean in our society today.
The photographer Andrè Clemetsen collaborates with the theologian Halvor Moxnes about the exhibition, which is inspired by the performance of Bjørn Eidsvåg, "Enlightened: Jesus" and the value debate it has created. Another inspiration is the work for people and their worth, which is run by the Church's Mission.
