About Job Interview VR
The "Job Interview VR" app provides a true-to-life experience of a job interview. The app can be used to train and prepare for a job interview. The simulation is based on a scenario that contains 12 main questions and 14 additional comments or questions that are displayed based on the answers to the main questions. In the interview scenario, the application user enters the role of job candidate and goes through a typical job interview. The interviewer is shown in a typical meeting room, in a 360-video format from the jobseeker's point of view. The purpose of the application is not to provide guidance and instruction in how to perform in a job interview. Instead, the application user is placed in situations where he or she has to answer questions from the interviewer. It is possible to record the answers given by the application user, so that the experience of the situation becomes more realistic. The recording can be played afterwards, intertwined with questions from the interviewer, which allows self-assessment and reflection.
How to use the app
The app helps the job seeker to be prepared for a job interview and to gain interview experience. A job seeker can go through the simulation of the job interviews and answer the questions aloud, so that the voice is recorded. The jobseeker can then go through the recording alone or with a counselor afterwards.
Terms and conditions
This app only provides a simulation of a typical job interview. The questions and reactions from the interviewer on the recording are not the same as on an actual job interview.
Note that the app registers all sound during the simulated job interview.
The app requests access to the microphone on the user's device to enable recording of the user's voice while the app is in use.
The audio recording is stored locally on the device while the app is in use. The app does not save the recording after the app is closed. The app does not transmit the recordings over the Internet.
The app does not have access to the user's personal data stored on the phone. The app does not have access to the user's location data. The app does not have access to the user's IP address. The app does not collect data about the user's device.
