A Nutcracker Dragon is facing Squirrelville, terrorizing its citizens! Luckilly, there is one weapon that can keep the dragon at bay... The legendary Nutapult! But it requires constant refilling and maintenance, which costs a lot of nuts. Luckilly, you are a crowdfunding expert, so it's up to you and your team to prevent the dragon from... having squirrels for dinner. How long can you keep the Nutapult in place?
Nutty Reign is a hypercasual single-player mobile game where all you have to do is select among two options in every round and try to survive as many rounds as possible. There are four areas that are affected by your choices and your goal is to keep them in balance for as long as you can.
Squirrels are obviously the citizens of Squirrelville, which you can reach with your crowdfunding campaign.
Nuts are the currency of Squirrelville, in which the squirrels donate to your campaign.
Materials are what you need to refill and maintain the Nutapult, which you buy with nuts from your producer.
Last but not least, Teamwork is the unspoken hero of your campaign, which you have to keep in mind at all times if you want your project to succeed.
How long can you keep those in balance?
Nutty Reign was developed with the support the the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission, as part of the StrateCrowd project, with the aim to assist users to learn basic skills around crowdfunding in a playful manner. The project also produced a multiplayer tabletop game, which the mobile app can support as a practice companion.
