This is an updated version of the original, contains many error fixes and input checking features, please uninstall the previous version if installed.
Please note, when configuring the settings screen it is best to copy and paste from your Octopus settings screen, i.e. API, MPAN, MPRN, and Serial Numbers, also of note and where most people go wrong, standing charges and gas unit charge are shown in pence on Octopus settings but must be entered in £0.00 format in the app's settings, so for instance if shown as '2.67p' it should be entered as '0.0267', similarly if shown as '17.85' it should be entered as '0.1785' We hope that helps and you have a successful install.
New releases will integrate more functionality including interoperable features with wifi devices and other semi-intelligent devices.
Electricity tariffs change on a half-hour basis, the application allows the user to monitor when the best tariffs are available, essential for heavy usage, Electric vehicles, Hot Tubs, Tumble dryers, Washing machine, all devices that use large amounts of electricity. Maximise savings by using the devices when the tariffs are at their lowest
Gas tariffs are fixed so the system gives you a visual account of your usage, likewise the Electricity consumption is identified and usage calculated against the various tariffs, a total for the day is available for both Gas and Electricity
