About Amanatun Bible App
Scriptures in the Amanatun [aoz] language, Timor Island, Indonesia. Amanatun is one of several languages in the Meto cluster (also known as ‘Uab Meto’ and sometimes ‘Dawan’). Linguistically, even though there are clear similarities in the varieties of Meto, the differences in phonology, morpho-syntax and vocabulary are significant enough to interfere with communication among the different varieties of Meto. Amanatun is spoken by around 70,000 speakers in the TTS regency (kabupaten) of NTT province, in 8 districts (kecamatan).
