Cultural Foster Care (AC in short) is a project selected by the Con I Bambini Foundation, as part of the Fund for the fight against child educational poverty, and places as its main element the enhancement of the experience of foster care through the sharing of beauty and culture. The idea is simple and we want to make cultural products and services available to families. First of all, fighting educational poverty means having a common responsibility towards the whole community. AC takes life from this common will and extends to Naples, Rome, Bari and Modena. Specifically, AC starts from the concept that: “educational poverty is one of the most dangerous viruses. There is a sea of children who cannot do simple things: go to the cinema, to the theater, to the museum, to an educational farm or to a science center. "Changing this situation is one of the commitments undertaken by the project through an easy gesture: sharing moments . A parent, but also a single person, who usually accompanies his or her children to the cinema, theater, museum or bookshop, (or has the time to do so), can also bring a child - possibly with a member of his family - who in these places would not enter. The causes of this lack can be different and are not necessarily due to economic problems. This could be due to disinterest or prohibitive hours of parenting. To these reasons, language barriers for small immigrants and physical barriers for children with disabilities can be added. AC tries to meet these difficulties, offering experiences of sharing and exchange, in which the whole community works. As regards the economic aspect, the families involved do not have to advance money and even here the project provides an original tool. In fact, it will be possible to make use of a virtual solidarity money, the “e-ducati”, with which to pay the tickets for access to the places of culture ad hoc agreed with the project. Transactions in e-ducati travel, in particular, on a specially created, which facilitates financial monitoring and activities, as well as project fundraising. Therefore, through a series of shared cultural uses, families-resources and families recipients enter into an Educational Pact: an overall multidimensional support promoted, guaranteed and monitored by the School. Moreover, AC is a project that opens up to the outside thanks to the desire to weave new relationships with cultural realities and schools of the cities in which it carries out its action . The spirit is to be online to change the territory together, going in the same direction. For this reason, the representatives of the project in Naples, Rome, Bari and Modena are entering into partnerships and agreements with associations, institutions and schools with which to share the project in order to enrich this experience. Resource families and recipient families thus have greater opportunities to share and spend together moments dedicated to activities where culture meets fun. AC dreams of a future in which exchange, gift of self, trust and reciprocity, passion and spirit of initiative, attention to others and responsibility, spread throughout society and guide individual and collective choices. : in Naples Pio Monte della Misericordia; Le Nuvole theater art science; University of Naples Federico II - Dept.
