About Asiccaza

In 2009, the Interprofessional Association of Game Meat (ASICCAZA) was born as the first interprofessional organization of game meat, a non-profit association, which was set up to assume the representation and defense of the common interests of producers and industries of the wild game meat sector.

This sectoral organization groups organizations involved in the hunting field of the environmental conservation and gastronomy sector, among others. So that all parties involved in this field join forces in the same direction to offer solutions.

Asiccaza is the result of a proposal that was launched by all those involved to fight in order to achieve the regularization of the sector and make it a viable market through the revaluation of game meat and the promotion of its consumption.

Throughout the year ASICCAZA carries out promotional, information and dissemination actions to promote the consumption and value of game meat.

Among the aims of the organization is the improvement of the quality of the products of the processes that intervene in the agrifood chain. Being a maxim in this sense for the sector to achieve excellence to ensure its future.

At the same time, in 2018 ASICCAZA has launched an ambitious project to promote game meat at a European level. One of the objectives of this program in Spain is to increase the knowledge of this meat among national consumers, publicizing its quality and food safety and the high production standards. In Europe the objective is to put them in value among the professionals of the European market to boost their marketing.
