The VulkaSense® app supports you in installing our moisture sensors, in managing the locations and informs you when it is time to water.
- Installation
The app guides you through the installation of the sensor unit. The location is recorded using GPS (after approval), the installation situation can be documented with photos and an assignment to the respective substrate type or soil can be made. If you want, you can also take a soil sample and send it to us - then we can adjust the calibration of the sensors based on the location.
- Location management
New locations can be created or a measuring field can be supplemented with additional sensors.
- Time to water
The app informs you about the soil moisture at the various locations and gives tips on watering. In connection with our substrates, we can tell you how much water the location can absorb - so you can use the irrigation process optimally. The irrigation water penetrates deep into the root area, nourishes the plant and is protected from evaporation.
