Since 1984, Amor-Exigente (AE) has been providing support and guidance to relatives of drug addicts and people with inappropriate behavior. Through an efficient program of self and mutual help, the AE develops precepts for family reorganization, sensitizing people and making them realize the need to change the course of their lives from themselves, providing balance and better quality of life. life. This program, which has worked and worked for 4 decades, is practiced through 12 Basic Principles, 12 Ethical Principles, Pluralistic Spirituality and Social Responsibility, through weekly meetings, courses and lectures, always with the dedication and commitment of thousands of volunteers scattered throughout Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, among other countries.
Aiming at greater coverage of its social protection movement, Amor-Exigente expanded its program, giving rise to special actions aimed at specific audiences: Prevention – aims to discourage experimentation and use of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs through an educational approach with parents, grandparents and teachers to help educate their children, grandchildren and students; Sobriety – this work with a different approach, is aimed especially at people in the process of
recovery from the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs; Amor-Exigentinho – proposal aimed at children and young people who use the Amor-Exigente Program (PAE) in a playful, clear and objective way, aiming to help them adopt responsible and healthy attitudes; Always It's Time – focused on older adults who often go through “empty nest syndrome” or face the challenge of taking care of their grandchildren while their parents work and/or study; and Spouses - intended for people in romantic relationships with users of alcohol and other drugs.
