VIII Central Russian Economic Forum "Digital Region", June 26-27, 2019, Kursk
The Central Russian Economic Forum (SEF) has been held in Kursk since 2012.
During its short history, this event has become a landmark in the economic and political life of the regions of central Russia. The forum raises the most pressing issues of development of the center of the country and forms the main directions of future economic policy. Initiated discussions at the project site attract the attention of the entire business community and influence the government decision making. The forum clearly and unequivocally demonstrates the interest of the authorities and business elites in the development of the regional economy, outlines the conditions, preferences and requirements for investments.
The organizers of the SEF are the Administration of the Kursk Region, the Investment Promotion Agency of the Kursk Region, AK & M Information Agency, with the support of the Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Central Federal District, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, and the Bank of Russia.
The theme of SEF-2019 is “Digital Region”. The President and the Government set the strategic goal of building a digital economy for the regions, which creates the basis for the successful implementation of all national projects.
The main idea of the forum is that a person should be in the center of digital transformations, improving the quality of his life. The forum is designed to answer the question of what the digital economy will give to ordinary people, what priorities need to be built, so that the lives of people in Central Russia will improve through digital transformations.
More than 2000 people will take part in the Forum: representatives of federal ministries and departments, regional authorities of Central Russia, state corporations, major scientific and educational institutions, consulting companies, industrial and agricultural enterprises, investment and banking structures, small and medium-sized businesses.
We invite all interested participants to the dialogue. Participation in the forum is traditionally free.
