George Robert Crow was born in 1924 in the state of Ohio but grew up across the river in West Virginia. He attended the University of Chicago and there lived a vain and empty life without God or hope. Shortly before his graduation he was converted to christ, and after brief studies at Moody Bible Institute, he became a pastor in West Virginia. Not long afterwards he went to India as a missionary where he served for many years. In India, among other activities, he translated the Bible into the Telugu language and then wrote a commentary on the whole Bible. The Bible and commentary were published together as the first, and only, Study Bible in that language. In 1983 he founded a religious and charitable organization called Grace Ministries to continue the work in India. G.R. Crow is the author of these five books. He went to the Lord on May 23, 2007.
