We are a private non-profit institution, leaders in the field of integral rehabilitation that seek the excellence of our services, promoting human rights with equal opportunities focused on improving the quality of life of people living with physical disabilities, their families and with the solidarity of society.

WHERE WE GO?
By 2020 we will be the institution of integral rehabilitation with the best quality of services, offering greater coverage, accessible, timely, efficient services, with advanced technology and functional physical facilities at the national level.

HISTORY
In September 1987 the Telethon Foundation was created, being awarded the legal status in the city of Tegucigalpa, Municipality of the Central District, with number 342 dated December 28, 1987. Being a dynamic institution that promotes changes in quality of life of people with disabilities and impacts on the conscience of the groups and people that move Honduran society. As a non-profit institution, it obtains its funds from the annual Telethon Events, donations and cooperation of international humanitarian institutions, which contribute to a medical, therapeutic, psychological, social and educational support service for people with disabilities.

In March of the year 1990 the work of the Telethon Foundation began with the simultaneous opening of three Integral Rehabilitation Centers in the cities of San Pedro Sula, Santa Rosa de Copan and Tegucigalpa.

In March of 2002, the Telethon Rehabilitation Center was inaugurated in Choluteca, a property that was donated by the General del Sur Hospital, located in the center of the city.

In April 2009, the Telethon Rehabilitation Center in Olancho, Catacamas headquarters, was inaugurated.

And in September of the year 2017, the Telethon Rehabilitation Center in La Esperanza, Intibucá, was inaugurated.
