About DAUCO

DAUCO TEST is a computer application that aims to improve the detection and early diagnosis of children with developmental disorders or at risk of developing it in the field of Early Childhood Care (from 0 to 6 years of age). Once validated in the Andalusian population, it will be implemented in the clinical management system for Early Childhood Care belonging to the Regional Government of Andalusia (information system of Early Assistance, ALBORADA).

This project, which began with a research grant from the CajaSur Foundation, is currently funded by the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía in the Call for Grants for the financing of Biomedical R + D + i in Sciences of Health in Andalusia.

DAUCO TEST consists of six scales of evaluation of development (cognitive, language, social, adaptive, fine and gross motor) whose items have been configured taking into account the most important validated scales of development that are used today. After having been subjected to a thorough process of analysis by a group of experts, the tool is ready to begin the validation phase.
Thanks to the collaboration of professionals who develop their work in the field of childhood, it will be possible to successfully complete this validation phase of the computer application in which we find ourselves.
Therefore, if your work is developed in this field and you are interested in participating, you only have to send an email to infodau@uco.es and we will explain more about your valuable participation.

Once the validation process is completed, a bank of stimulation activities will be implemented in DAUCO TEST according to chronological age and previously evaluated level of development of the minors, adjusting the level or distance between them and serving as support for the design of individualized intervention. We are convinced that this application will be of inestimable help for professionals working with children.

DAUCO TEST respects the Deontological Codes of the participating professional profiles, as well as the Declaration of Helsinki and all the ethical and legal requirements promoted in our country to ensure both confidentiality and good practice in applied clinical research. (Biomedical Research Law, 2007, RGPD UE / 2016/679, etc.).
