NASA Harvest is NASA's Food Security and Agriculture Program. HarvestNow is a mobile application that facilitates NASA Harvest field campaign data collection, built on ESRI's Survey123 application framework. HarvestNow allows users to collect critical agricultural field data (i.e. crop conditions) in a secure and easily accessible way. Accurate ground data on crop conditions throughout the growing season is an essential component to NASA Harvest's agricultural Earth observation activities in support of global food security efforts.
The NASA Harvest mission is to enable and advance adoption of satellite Earth observations by public and private organizations to benefit food security, agriculture, and human and environmental resiliency in the US and worldwide.
We accomplish this through a multidisciplinary and multisectoral Consortium of leading scientists and agricultural stakeholders, led by researchers at the University of Maryland and implemented together with our partners across the globe.
