medPPE: Medical Personal Prote

The medPPE app provides information about the recommended use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for COVID-19. It will support health-care workers on the use of Personal Protective Equipment and how to protect themselves while caring for patients.

Health-care workers can find the information by role, level of care, and multiple departments for primary health care settings or hospital facilities. This app also clarifies what kind of PPE is needed when performing aerosol generating procedures (AGP) and other procedures in patients with COVID-19.

medPPE was elaborated by PAHO/WHO. It is important to take into account that protocols may vary by country, and that these guidelines are from the PAHO/WHO, based on the evidence available to date. It is available on all PAHO official languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
