In Story Keepers, the student will be able to follow three survivors, Alexander, Livia and Renate, who tell about their lives from a happy childhood to unimaginable darkness during the Holocaust. After the student has listened to the testimonies, he or she will be able to take a stand on difficult issues, reflect on his or her civil courage and how he or she can act for a more humane society.
Story Keepers is designed to capture and retain students' interest. Interactive exercises with film and sound are used to enhance the experience and increase the understanding and empathy of people affected by the Holocaust.
