Senior Alert is a free application supporting the search of elderly people missing in the Podlasie Voivodeship. The functioning of the application can increase the chance of successfully finding a missing person. Everyone who installs the application will receive a notification with the missing person's description if the search action starts. Thanks to this, people staying in public places will have information that may be important for finding a missing person.
The application was created as part of the project "Senior Alert. Podlaski system of reacting to the disappearance of an elderly person ". The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Interior and Administration as part of the Crime Prevention and Antisocial Behavior Program "Safer Together" them. What's in the application?
- description of missing persons in old age from the Podlaskie Voivodeship,
- a system of notifications of users in the case of a search campaign,
- the possibility of establishing a telephone connection with an appropriate search unit,
- additional advice: first aid, proceedings in case of finding a person.
How does the application work?
When the Police starts searching for a missing person, you will receive a notification of missing person along with a description of that person. You can open the application in each place and see if you have seen a similar person. If you see the missing person, click on the red CALL button. You will be connected to the appropriate Police unit that is conducting the search. The involvement of every person can multiply the chance of finding a missing person effectively.
