The application presents Museums, Memorials, Parks - devoted to Poles who, risking their own lives and the lives of their families, saved from extermination during World War II

The Ulma Family Museum of Poles Saving Jews in World War II in Markowa is the most complete and meaningful one to this day.
We would like to present this extraordinary place, opened on March 17, 2017.
It was named after the Ulma family (Józef Ulma, his wife Wiktoria and their six children were murdered by German gendarmes on March 24, 1944, along with eight Jews
which they were hiding.
The intention of the creators was to hide the secret of the recipient in a semi-glazed form
discover only during the tour. The structure of the building cuts into the square. The front of the museum is a universal symbol of the house, reminding visitors of the history of pre-war Markowa.
This applies to the time of the Shoah as well and indicates an unchanging form and duration, despite
adversities and history.
The exhibition itself covers only 120 m2.
On the wall in front of the museum there are plaques with the names of Poles who saved Jews,
in the square there are illuminated plaques with the names and surnames of those who saved Jews
they lost their lives.

Next to the museum, the Memorial Court was established, referring to the national character of the museum
- there are illuminated plaques with the names of Polish towns where the Jewish population was saved by the Polish Righteous Among the Nations.

There is a local accent in Sada - in its center stands the monument of the Ulma Family from 2004, moved from the open-air museum in Markków.
