It all started in 1991, as a family business, out of the desire to support beekeepers. Mister. physics teacher, Mates Victor, laid the foundations of this business, small at first, but which grew over time. Until 2011, we sold honey packaging, from jars to barrels, but we also produced wax honeycombs.
In April 2011, we took over the distribution of Lyson products on the Romanian market, in order to be able to offer beekeepers the full range of beekeeping equipment and machinery necessary for the development of an apiary.
Currently, in Blaj, in the heart of Transylvania, there is the largest warehouse of beekeeping equipment and machinery in Romania, as a result, in 2013 and 2016, APIS SRL received the award for the largest distributor in Europe of the Lyson company.
At the moment, we import products from over 10 countries, from Europe and beyond, such as: Poland, Serbia, Greece, Slovenia, Hungary, Mexico, and in Romania we have over 50 collaborators.
