About Inspecciones CIALA

The Latin American Agreement of Viña del Mar is an international non-profit organization created in November 1992,
during the development of the sixth meeting of the Operational Network of Regional Cooperation of Maritime Authorities of South America.
Its function is to carry out the Control of Vessels by the Port State based on the IMO instrument (International Maritime Organization) and
ILO (International Labor Organization), is made up of: ARGENTINA, BOLIVIA, BRAZIL, CHILE, COLOMBIA, CUBA, ECUADOR,
GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, MEXICO, PANAMA, PERU, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, URUGUAY AND VENEZUELA. The results of the inspections are recorded daily in its information center and database called CIALA.
