The audibility of the 95.8 MHz Maritime Radio Bakar is also expressed in the western suburbs of Rijeka as far as the state border, and covers the stretch from Opatija to Labin and Rabac in Istria with their hinterland, that is, the islands of Cres and Krk - the northern part. The audible area also reaches the City of Delnice, Crikvenica and Senj. We reckon that in such a large area, including the city of Rijeka, we can be heard at any time by a large number of residents, potential advertisers, consumers and users of various services. According to our indirect and direct knowledge, Maritime Radio Bakar has recorded a constant increase in the number of listeners. Our radio as such was immediately recognized by listeners of all ages, because its program nurtures native language and local music, and is thematically related and focused on the maritime structure but also on other economic entities, especially those connected with the sea. and shipping, from ship supply to transportation and logistics. The transmitter was put to trial on 17.09.2006. The trial broadcast was on October 14, 2006, and we went on the air on December 6, 2006. Equipment is 70% digitized.
