About Nutriclock

The Nutriclock app comes within the scope of the Nutriclock pilot study, focused on the aspect of chrononutrition, which aims to assess the influence of personalized eating plans, according to the circadian rhythm and individual chronotype, in preventing pre-diabetes. The effectiveness of this intervention is assessed by collecting saliva samples.

The Nutriclock app is intended for the Nutriclock study participants, so that they can record, in a practical way, the information required during the study. In addition, the app allows participants to communicate with healthcare professionals and be notified to collect saliva, or when there are missing records.

The main features of the application include:

Food diary: records all meals/food eaten during the first 3 days of the study.

Sleep diary: register your bedtime and wake up time and consult statistical information on the records made.

Physical activity diary: Records the physical activities performed and visualizes the calories burned in each one of them.

Personalized food plan. If you are part of the Nutriclock group, you will be provided with a personalized meal plan, which includes the times and foods that you should consume while participating in the study.

Notifications: You will receive notifications when you are close to having a saliva collection or when you forget to record some information from the food, sleep and physical activity diary.

Chat: You can communicate with healthcare professionals.
