The "MyData AntiStalker" APP's main objective is to protect the user's personal data, in the most vulnerable moments. By this I mean that there are times in our lives, whether privately or publicly, when we are asked for personal data and that we provide them at the moment, regardless of whether someone is collecting them for later use.
I present a case that could be real: A lady goes to the hospital and when she is checking in, she is asked for contact details and confirmation of address. At his side is a guy who takes note of the requested data and starts calling or even knocking on his door. Frighteningly doable.
I hope that this application manages to mitigate some dangers that are so current.
This APP has as its first protection a screen with a PIN, then a “window” appears in which the user gives his consent, or not, for the collection of information, for a better experience with the ads presented. After selection, a list of countries opens (each country has its own documents), after selecting the country, the user finds a list to: 1) Enter/Modify/Delete; 2) Select the data you want to show; 3) Show all data entered, and 4) Erase all data.
1) Enter/Modify/Delete - On this screen, the user enters the personal data he/she wants, using the available list, plus a free field. It has fields common to all countries, such as “Name”, “Address”, Date of Birth, etc.; and other data that are specific to the selected country. For example: It is very common in the United Kingdom to request the number of the “Driver's License” as an identifying element, whereas in Portugal this document is not very relevant. Let's imagine that the user has moved house, on this screen he can change that data, or that he no longer has a telephone at home, he can delete that data.
2) Select the data – In most situations we are only asked for some data, here the user selects the requested data, when selecting a “Show” button appears, when pressing this button a table appears with the selected data.
3) Show all data – A table appears with all the data that the user has entered.
4) Erase all data – Erases all data entered by the user.
In the “Select data” and “Show all data” fields, the APP has three ways to present the data. One is to show the data directly to those who requested it, another by sharing (email, whatsapp, etc) and finally through “QR Code”.
Note that in “Select data”, after selecting and pressing the “Show” button, you cannot select more data unless you unlock it with your PIN.
To erase all data also have to unlock.
