Radio Carnaval Sayula was born on April 2, 2016.
It is a particular project that emerged as an initiative due to the need to have a means to connect the community. Unfortunately, the economic and legal guidelines did not allow having an authorized frequency on am or fm, therefore online radio was chosen, as it was considered a current medium and close to everyone.
"Radio Carnaval" is the name of a great Radio Network in Chile that enjoys the highest levels of audience, which also has more than 15 frequencies distributed throughout that country. "Radio Carnaval Sayula" is a name authorized by the mentioned Chilean chain that also contributes with the songs that identify the radio, thus giving authorization and life to the project for Sayula.
"Radio Carnaval Sayula" seeks to represent the best of our municipality for the world, seeks to be one more element for which Sayula, Jalisco is recognized and valued, reflecting in its name the essence of its centuries-old culture.
"Radio Carnaval Sayula" is prevention, since it was born with the intention of preventing suicide in the local and state population, under the campaign "Paint your life with hope."
As a basic philosophy, Radio Carnaval does not profit from the music it broadcasts, nor does it charge for the spots it launches on the air. Therefore, it thus becomes a potential agent to detonate the local economy and project it to the level that technology allows: worldwide.
