Radio Fides, the official station of the Archdiocese of San José, has been on the air since July 25, 1952, subject to Christ and his Church, open to change and always trying to be the station that educates Christians.
The path of Radio FIDES through the years has not been dull. On the contrary, it has been adorned with actions that have brought joy and fulfillment to thousands of listeners.
In all this time, FIDES has not been an effort, but a devotion, it is the dedication of various people over the years. From its founders to today.
Grandparents, children and grandchildren have been able to enjoy programming that has been supportive in difficult moments and in happy moments of celebration and joy.
They are many years at the service of Costa Rica and with technology to many souls outside our borders, we have become friends, companions on the way but above all brothers of a common Father.
Radio Fides is today one of the first stations on the national dial, but more than audience numbers it is a means to communicate with God and with the brothers.
This walk has also implied risks that we assume with courage and responsibility. The station stands firm in the One who defeated death and calls us to be salt and light for the world.
Our flag is and will continue to be, the defense of the most defenseless and above all the promotion of the family.
This is our mission... to bring relief to homes, to bring love, but above all to be the voice of God for the listeners and fill them with Life and Hope.
