What Works, when you want to resist alcohol, gambling, drugs, sweets, etc.

Steve Wicks and Råbe & Kobberstad AB has created the app WhatWorks to help you document your successful strategies with the help of the app, What Works. During your previous efforts to be free of behaviors you have certainly found some strategies that work sometimes, or to some degree. With What Works, you can build up a personal banking strategies that work for you. At any time during the day, when you feel a craving for the behavior you most want to get rid of, you can have the What Works and document the situation. You can with a simple scale underestimate how "hungry" you are and then describe the situation, eg, "Cursed on the bus after work." You should then enter what you were doing instead of giving in to your cravings, for example. "Got off the bus and called my friend."

By documenting different situations, suction of different intensity and what you did instead, you create a powerful tool that you could use throughout their journey towards becoming free of alcohol, drugs, gambling, sweets etc. What Works gives you the possibility, through E-mail or SMS share your situations / strategies with others, for example. social worker, psychologist, therapy staff, etc.
