This interpretation has been prepared by our ustases on the basis of reliable comments on the Holy Quran written by scholars of Ahlu-s-Sunnah val-Jamaqa for many centuries. The goal was to reveal and explain the meaning of the Quranic verses in a simple and accessible way, while not departing from the academic tradition of Islam. We have been working on Tafsir azan.ru for more than two years, and at the request of most of our readers, we decided to launch a tafsir mobile application for easy reading and studying texts.

We do not pretend that our tafsir will become the only book that will save the Russian-speaking reader from the need for other tafsirs. There is no such book in Arabic, otherwise why the best minds for centuries have worked over and over again on the interpretation of the Holy Quran, leaving us a legacy of hundreds, if not thousands, of tafsirs.

Here is our attempt to adhere to a middle ground: to make an interpretation that is accessible, written in clear language, but firmly tied to the Islamic scientific tradition, without going into complex issues of Shariah sciences, but without simplifying the content. Where scholars have given several different interpretations of one ayah, we usually cite them. In addition, we tried to make the comment text not too short, but also not too voluminous.

The authors of the tafsir are the ustazes of Abu Ali al-Ashari, Ahmad Abu Yahya, Mufti Kamil-Hazrat Samigullin. May Allah save them all!
