CASCADE system comprises the central and the mobile parts. The central part of CASCADE used by engineers, professionals and executives. In the central part of the stored model and base data products, the technical condition of the model, historical data, forecasts of product design and performance.
The mobile part is used CASCADE operational, maintenance and service personnel. The mobile unit collects data: detours equipment, recording of defects, within the parameters of the technical condition of registration switches and crossings, accounting developments, the repair operations, the timing of work, consumption of materials and spare parts.
CASCADE system describes the product with several models for the life cycle phases (design, construction, commissioning and commissioning, operation, repair and MOT, upgrade, recycling), to store a database of products to perform numerical modeling and simulation of the life cycle, to perform assessment of a product on the the entire life cycle, allowing the user to make informed decisions on the product structure, the characteristics of software and services, to determine the optimal period of replacement or repair of the product
