In the framework of the project “OMSK: A Living History”, students and employees of the Omsk State Technical University, together with the Tourist Information Center of the Omsk Region, developed a mobile application with the technology of augmented reality “Be in Omsk!” The application will be used during a series of excursions in the historical center of Omsk in order to popularize the cultural heritage of Omsk among the youth of the Omsk region and create a positive image of the city in their eyes.
The following objects are included in a tourist route:

5. Omsk River Station
6. City sculpture "Stepanych"
7. City sculpture "Lyubochka"
8. Omsk State Academic Drama Theater
9. Dostoevsky in the Theater Square
10. Square Fighters of the revolution
11. Management of the Omsk railway (OmGUPS)
12. The legislative assembly of the Omsk region
13. Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan
14. Mikhailov Castle
15. YOUTH
16. Omsk State Musical Theater
17. Puppet, actor and mask theater “Harlequin”

The project is being implemented as part of the All-Russian contest of youth projects of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs "Rosmolodezh" among higher education educational organizations.
