an easy way to screen for alcohol problems that occur during
last year.
The test reveals preliminary signs of dangerous use
alcohol and mild alcohol dependence. Unlike some
alcohol screening tests, AUDIT demonstrates 92%
effectiveness in detecting dangerous or harmful drinks for all
ethnic and gender groups.
The test contains a series of multiple choice questions by quantity
and the frequency of alcohol use, alcoholism and alcohol-related
problems or reactions. Answers are scored on a point system.
