Take a picture every X minutes and email it to anyone you choose.
You can use this APP to set up a low bandwidth security camera.
PICandEMAIL will take a picture every (user defined)minute. Then email
that picture to you/anyone. This is a lot easier than streaming.
PICandEMAIL does not rely on or require any EMAIL
program to be installed on your device. It's all
self contained.
I created PICandEMAIL to keep an eye on my dog(Nina) in our camper when we leave the campground for a few hours. I point the camera inside the camper with a thermometer in sight. If i get an email picture that show the temperature is getting hot or electricity has cut off, I know to rush back to the campground to save my dog.
In a couple of app screenshot pictures, you will see that I leave a 120v
light on also. This way I can tell the camper has electricity. Thermometer
also in shot so I can see the current temperature.
Doesn't take long at all for a pet to die from being locked up inside a HOT camper when the AC or electric fails.
I have PICandEMAIL set to email me every 5 minutes. All i have to do is simply check my email, view the picture.
I chose EMAIL vs streaming for it's simplicity and to save bandwidth. Email is a lot more reliable, and the pictures are stored in the emails, so I have a record.
PICandEMAIL also records the phone/device's battery level in each email.
PICandEMAIL Demo Version works for 30 minutes
then stops. Pro version runs forever and is only a $buck.

To use:
Install PICandEMAIL on your phone.
In Android Settings/apps PICandEMAIL:
Grant
Storage permission: Needed to save pictures
to /download folder
Camera permission: To take pictures
Microphone permission: to use camera
(So far PICandEMAIL doesn't use the microphone at all)
Now you can run PICandEMAIL for the first time.
Enter your email settings. These settings are stored on your phone in AES-256 bit encryption! Click on default settings to help with first
time setup. Defaults to Gmail server settings.
Be sure to set APP password! This password is used to encrypt the settings file. This password is not stored on phone. You must remember it.
Save configuration
Click on TEST button to make sure you get a test email.
This app does not contain any Ads or spyware/etc. I do not collect any of your info. No data/info is sent out to me. PICandEMAIL is 100% safe!
Internet usage is ONLY to transmit these emails to whoever you set. No deceptive programming at all!
PICandEMAIL was designed for campers to protect their pets, but of course it can be used for many other purposes!
