The AR app Skaparstaden gives you the opportunity to easily participate in Helsingborg Municipality's dialogue and co-creation process for the design of the new square in the Drottninghög area.
In the app, in addition to looking at and commenting on proposals for the design of the new square, you can also easily create your own contributions for how you think the square should look and function. The app's modular drag-and-drop feature is easy to use and requires no prior knowledge whatsoever.
The best experience is given by the app if you are on site in Drottninghög and can see the proposals in scale 1: 1 at the place where the square will be located. But if you do not have the opportunity to go to Drottninghög, you can instead watch, comment and create proposals in AR in any place, or in a simplified view in your mobile.
To make it easier to create well-functioning proposals for the square, the app also has a function that shows relevant information about the place's possibilities and limitations. For example, in the form of underground cables, location of the entrances to the surrounding houses and the lighting conditions of the site.
In the app, you will also find a “timeline” that describes the site's history and the project's phases, up to today's dialogue and co-creation process, but also how the work will be taken further forward.

During the city fair H22 City Expo, which takes place between 30 May and 3 July, the city of Helsingborg invites visitors to discuss and create their own proposals for the design of Drottninghög's new square.
You will find the program point right next to Drottninghög's square. During the H22 City Expo, a number of workshops will be held on site in Drottninghög, where there is an opportunity for everyone who wants to participate. All proposals posted in the app during H22 City Expo will be evaluated and weighed in the work of developing a proposal for the square's form and function.
The ambition is to be able to publish a balanced proposal on the last day of the city fair that can form the basis for the square's future design. Drottninghög's new square is expected to be ready no earlier than 2023 or 2024.
