World Brain Week (BAW) is a global campaign to raise awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research. Every March, the efforts of universities, hospitals, patient groups, government agencies, educational centers and professional associations around the world join together to celebrate BAW for a week. Founded in coordination by the "Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives" and "European Dana Alliance for the Brain" and supported by the "European Federation of Neurosciences" (FENS) and the "Spanish Society of Neurosciences" (SENC).
The Faculty of Medicine of Ciudad Real (UCLM) joins this celebration for the ninth consecutive year. It will be a week full of activities to raise awareness, and raise interest in the brain and research on it, to the public of all ages.
